It's been a long time coming but here's another blog post. First of all I'm alive. That's a good thing. It was a long tough winter with the movie biz in Vancouver being slow after the writers strike and the looming fears of a SAG strike as well. A man I know – who knows these things – recently opined that laptops are the new mobiles. When I see the array of ultra-portable machines and accessories hitting the market, I’m inclined to agree. Everyone has them, they are increasingly personalised and are getting lighter. Despite all the who-ha over Apple’s MacBook Air that fits in an envelope, and some snazzy machines from Triangulation and Other Modular Knitting Fun!
So, there hasn’t been too much knitting around here lately. Well that is because there hasn’t been a lot of knitting around here lately.. I did do a mitered square project that will be in the upcoming issue of Loom Knitters Circle. Mitered squares are amazingly easy on looms, especially if you have an adjustable loom.
